As a direct supplier, you accept the product invitation and join the platform, connect your network by inviting your supplier(s) and provide transport data if you manage transportation to Sweden.
Rule of thumb: Each party reports transport data for the part of the journey they are responsible for.
Producer or Manufacturer
As a producer, you contribute key data such as, Ingredients, Energy use in production, Primary packaging, Transportation and Farm-level data for any ingredients you grow yourself. You also invite your growers and other suppliers so they can report their own data directly in the system.
More Complex Supply Chains
In more complex supply chains, the next level may be a Manufacturer, for example, a bottling or filling facility. In that case, the supplier reports data on Energy use in its processes, Primary packaging, Beverage purchased in bulk or other material and Transportation. The next step may be to invite for example, the beverage producer. If your product is sourced from multiple producers, you can include as many as necessary.
In practice, you follow the product’s value chain and gradually connect the relevant parties. Over time, data becomes increasingly precise as suppliers replace estimates with primary data from their own operations.
